Herramientas en Comunicación Científica

La Universidad de Utrech ha realizado una encuesta sobre las herramientas más populares utilizadas por los investigadores de todo el mundo, la denominada “Most popular tools for single research activities“.  Actualmente ya disponemos de resultados preliminares al respecto. Estas cifras representas las primeras 1000 respuestas.


En conjunto, los 1.000 encuestados mencionan un gran número de herramientas diferentes, algunas no incluidas en la encuesta preliminar. Estos datos son de gran utilidad para conocer qué herramientas están utilizando los investigadores y cuáles son las herramientas emergentes que tienen una mayor proyección de futuro. De esta manera, las bibliotecas y los investigadores podemos coordinar nuestros esfuerzos hacia la optimización de los recursos más relevantes. Es importante poner de relieve que quienes han contestado a la encuesta son investigadores que utilizan estos recursos.


 RECOLECTA o Recolector de Ciencia Abierta es una plataforma que agrupa todos los repositorios científicos nacionales y que provee de servicios a los gestores de repositorios, a los investigadores y a los agentes implicados en la elaboración de políticas (decisores públicos).

RECOLECTA nace fruto de la colaboración, desde 2007, entre La Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología (FECYT) y la Red de Bibliotecas Universitarias (REBIUN) de la CRUE con el objetivo de crear una infraestructura nacional de repositorios científicos de acceso abierto.
